Love Is the Greatest
“Three things will last foreverfaith, hope, and loveand the greatest of these is love.” That’s what it says at the end of 1 Corinthians 13, “the love chapter”oftheNLT Bibleand we think it’s a truth to hold on to, so we made this artwork to remind us to be patient, kind, and lovingto hold each other in high esteem, and to actively love one another every day.

The OriginalArtwas made usingseveral techniques, includinghand-cut decoupage lettering, acrylic painting, and an engraving for the scripture. Several layers of paint and medium werebuilt upto add texture and depth to the panel.

A Reclaimed Soundboardfrom an antique piano was our canvas for this one-of-a-kind painting. Soundboards have a beautifully distinct design, and they served a unique purpose when theinstrument was still intact. Itsjob was toamplify the sound of the strings, making the music louder so it could be heard by more people at greater distances. Now it’s been repurposed to share this message of love.
